Description

Replacement of the Goethals Bridge that spans the Arthur Kill between Elizabeth, New Jersey and Staten Island in New York City.

 

Features

Fabrication of the steel components for the replacement of the main span with two spans, one eastbound and one westbound, that will measure 1,635 ft. (498 m) and count six lanes in total plus shoulders and a bicycle/pedestrian path. Anchor boxes are installed in the top section of the eight towers.
