The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering (CSCE) recently presented Canam-Bridges engineering intern and master’s degree candidate Maxime Ampleman with an award for his article entitled Long-Term Slip Resistance of Metallized Faying Surfaces used with High Strength Bolted Connections, which he presented at the 2015 CSCE Annual Conference in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Maxime Ampleman received the Best Overall Student Paper Award in the Engineering Mechanics and Materials category. A summary of his article will be published in the 2015 Summer edition of Canadian Civil Engineer magazine and the integral version will be available shortly on the CSCE conference website.
In August, Maxime will deliver a lecture entitled Slip and Creep Performance for Metallized Connection Faying Surfaces used in Steel Bridge Construction at the New York City Bridge Conference.
Congratulations to Maxime for this award.
