The following products will be fabricated at the Canam Group plant in Laval, Quebec: 36 laminated bearings, certain components for 18 seismic isolators, 9 temporary bearings and 356 ft. (108.6 m) of Series 1000 HSS-type expansion joints. Fabrication began in June and will be completed in June 2016 while deliveries started in July and will continue through to July 2016.

These two reinforced concrete delta-leg overpasses, which measure 239.5 ft. (73 m) each, were built in 1965 and fortified in 2009. While the structures remain safe, they are showing signs of deterioration, which confirms that they’ve reached the end of their useful life. The new structures are designed according to the latest engineering standards and comply with seismic design criteria. The reconstruction of both overpasses is slated to be completed in 2019.
