The Milestrip Road Bridge is a 380-ft. (116 m) structure that spans Interstate 90 in Erie County, New York. Built in 1956, it needed to be replaced. Last week, Canam-Bridges, which supplied a total of 945 tons of metalized steel components for the new bridge, delivered the last two girders.
Fabrication was carried out at the Canam Group plant in New Hampshire between March and August 2015 while deliveries took place in August and September. The new bridge will be open to traffic in 2016.
