The Canadian Society for Civil Engineers(CSCE) held its annual conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia, last May 28-31, 2014. Structal-Bridges Junior Engineer Yannick Martin was among the speakers at the event.
His presentation, entitled “Development of a generic connector system for attaching conventional traffic barrier to orthotropic steel decks”, was on the subject of his master’s project that he is currently completing at Laval University. Written in collaboration with Charles-Darwin Annan and Mario Fafard of the Laval University Civil and Water Engineering Department, the paper will be available shortly in the proceedings of the CSCE’s 4th International Structural Specialty Conference.
