Canam Group to Deliver Three Presentations at the Quebec Steel Symposium

The 6th Annual Quebec Steel Workshop and Awards of Excellence, which is organized by the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC), is slated to take place on October 30. In addition to sponsoring the event, Canam Group will make three presentations.


Alexandre Perron, Engineering and Drafting Manager at Canam Buildings, will discuss the use of steel in the transportation industry.


Goodco Z-TechSenior Civil Engineer Pierre Lapalme, for his part, will explore the design and installation of modular expansion joints on highway bridges.


Afterwards, Éric Lévesque, Engineering Manager for New Products at Structal-Bridges, will examine the use of orthotropic steel deck in bridge rehabilitation projects.


In registering for this symposium, you will be credited with seven hours of recognized training by the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
