Canam-Bridges has been awarded a contract to supply Goodco Z-Tech products for a bicycle path project linking Longueuil and Boucherville, QC along the St. Lawrence River. This agreement affects the section between the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Tunnel-Bridge and the Boucherville Rowing Club.

The three raised parts of the path will require 867 tons of structural steel (W-shape rolled form) and 961 feet (293 meters) of expansion joints with compression seals. The Canam Group plant in Laval, QC will fabricate these components which will be delivered during the Spring of 2017.

This new 2.2-kilometre route is part of the Oka — Mont-Saint-Hilaire bicycle link project and creates a continuous link between Longueuil and Boucherville. The inauguration is planned for September, 2017.
