Hats Off to All Those Who Participated in the Construction of the New Samuel-De Champlain Bridge

Canam’s management takes the opportunity of the inauguration of the new Samuel-De Champlain Bridge to congratulate all those who have worked on its construction in recent years, particularly those working in its plants and with its subcontractors and suppliers. Canam and its partners manufactured 600 box girders for the approaches to the new bridge and 160 girders for the new Île-des-Sœurs bridge. Canam-Bridges will Fabricate Four-season Lighted Navigation Buoys for the Canadian Coast Guard

On October 5, the Government of Canada announced the award of a contract to Canam-Bridges to manufacture 184 four-season lighted navigation buoys to be deployed in the St. Lawrence River shipping channel, between Québec and Montréal. The contract includes options to acquire up to 204 additional buoys.
